I’ve been going to Ierephaan for years now, and I always leave so so happy. I have very thick curly hair that’s so hard to manage and him and his staff always handle it so well. The music and the coffee are great bonuses too, and he always recommends the best products for me to use 💐
I wish I could give more stars! Ierephaan and his wonderful team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Based on my consultation, Ierephaan and I decided an up do was best to support the overall look for the day, which before arriving at the salon I had not considered as it is out of my usual comfort zone. I visited Lerephaan's salon on my holiday trip. Visually it's a real eye-catcher. He and the team made me feel great as soon as I entered the salon. My wishes were taken into account and I was given good advice. Lerephaan knows exactly what he has to do and understands his craft. His employees are also very competent and do a great job. The relationship between customers and service providers is friendly, so it's easier to let yourself go. I was/am more than happy with my new haircut! Anyone in Cape Town should have a visit with Lerephaan and his team on their to-do list. ??☺️
During our travel for months my hair realy needed a cut and the color was terrible. Ierephaan and his colleagues did a wonderfull job. The color is from red to just natural again. Besides he is a real artist in coloring he also is a good hair-cutter. And a good and friendly teacher for his staff! I like that.And they also painted and shaped my eye brows .., a compleet metamorphose. The result is beautifull.I realy recomemend Ierephaan!! Don’t expect it to be cheap. But it is worth every penny! And what you get is so much more than when you visit a more ‘regular’ salon.Thank you all!!

I have been a happy client at Ierephaans Hair salon for many many years. I regularly receive compliments about my hair whether its about the cut, colour, styling, general health of my hair. Its very difficult if I travel because its very hard to find the same standard of excellence in other hair salons. Very few stylists are able to create volume with my fine straight silky hair except at Ierephaans’ salon. The new salon space is intriguing, welcoming and filled with objects of interest!

Quality of service is top notch, personal interaction is very conducive to exploring and discussing world issues! I live abroad and always get complimented on my hair and asked who’s my hairdresser ! I am being serious when I say that I think Ierephaan is the best hair stylist and colourist in Africa. I don’t even live in South Africa, but when I travel to Cape Town, his salon is always the first place I go to as it’s an experience that sets the tone for the rest of my trip. Ierephaan’s professionalism, his simpatico, his attention to detail, and his extraordinary skill are not only evident in how I look when I leave his salon, but it’s evident in how he has made me FEEL. I will not go anywhere else!
I live in Paarl and especially go to town to cut my hair at Ierephaan's. He just knows how to cut like the best and has a fantastic eye - the salon also uses the best products etc. I trust him blindly. Aside from that, he is a bundle of positivity and happiness, which we all need now and again!

Ierephaan is an artist. Magic at each stroke as he creates the contours shapes and textures. Often he is so focussed on your hair it’s just as mesmerising to watch him as it is to listen to his wisdoms - either way, I still rush to him as soon as I can when landing from London.
